CSM lands 31 fall student-athletes on NAIA Scholar-Athlete list
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for cross country, soccer and volleyball and 31 College of Saint Mary fall student-athletes have made the list.
The Flames had 13 soccer athletes recognized, 10 cross country runners honored and eight volleyball players named.
The 2023 list features student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
Making the list for CSM soccer were Reagan Boex, Isabella Cain, Vanessa Caldwell, Elisabeth Franke, Hayley Holden, Katalina Petak, Kaylie Ratzlaff, Abigail Ridout, Marissa Ring, Jessica Slater, Kaitlin Smith, Alexis Smith and Abbigail Wilson.
Making the list for CSM cross country were Alivia Austin, Kiley Craft, Jocelyn Farhar, Kira Hagan, Chloe Inhelder, Madeline Krause, Emma Lee, Corinne Mead, Skylar Ueding and Brooke Wigdahl.
Making the list for CSM volleyball were Lauren Anderson, Rachel Cushing, Emily Gilbert, Lexie Langley, Lauren Pfeifer, Miranda Ring, Jasa Wiedel and Kamryn Willman.
