Eleven Flames outdoor track athletes named All-GPAC
OMAHA, Neb. – Eleven College of Saint Mary student-athletes earned all-conference honors recently at the 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Hastings, Neb.
The top eight finishers in each individual event and top three relays earned all-conference honors.
In the shot put, senior Claire Caspersen placed fourth to become an eight-time All-GPAC performer. She placed in every conference indoor and outdoor shot put competition during her four years of eligibility.
Freshman Kara Muller had a busy meet, earning all-conference laurels in the 1,500 (fourth) and 5,000 (sixth) meters, and anchoring the Flames' 4x800-meter relay to victory, the school's first outdoor conference relay championship. In one year, Muller already is a seven-time All-GPAC honoree.
Sophomore Mira Fosmer picked up two more all-conference honors, placing fifth in the 800 and running on the winning 4x800 relay. She's now a six-time All-GPAC performer.
Freshman Carly Henderson placed fifth in the 400 hurdles and ran on the winning 4x800 relay to add two more All-GPAC honors to her accomplishments. She's already a five-time all-conference honoree.
Senior Madalynn Rhodes finished seventh in the javelin. She becomes a four-time All-GPAC selection, as she placed in the top eight in the javelin at the outdoor meet all four years.
Freshman Olivia Elbert took third in the 800 meters and ran on the winning 4x800 relay. That pushes Elbert's count of All-GPAC accolades to four after her first year.
Two ladies earned their second All-GPAC honors, freshman Mikaiya Rodgers, who won the long jump and became the first Flames athlete to win an individual event at the outdoor meet, and freshman Josie Karnik, who placed seventh in the 1,500.
Three more notched their first All-GPAC recognition: Kiley Craft, who was fourth in the 10,000; Allison Isaacson, who was sixth in the triple jump; and Autumn Simons, who took eighth in the 10,000.
