LINCOLN, Neb. – Travel-weary but eager to continue its progression, the College of Saint Mary swim team split a pair of duals on Saturday at the Nebraska Wesleyan Tri-Meet at the Weary Natatorium.

CSM defeated Iowa Western Community College 109-89 and lost to Nebraska Wesleyan University 154-50.

"After seven days of intense winter training in Miami, we came home to Omaha at midnight on Friday and were back in Lincoln to race nine hours later!'' CSM Coach Liz Germonprez said.

One of the highlights came in the 200 IM, where Kylee Brown set a new personal best with a runner-up time of 2:20.84. Addison Miller placed second in the 1,000 freestyle (12:16.12) and third in the 500 freestyle (5:59.45). Hannah Ferguson took third in the 100 butterfly (1:05.39).

"Addie Miller and Hannah Ferguson swam very strong races post winter training and travel,'' Germonprez said. "This team is ready to rest and lock in for KCAC Championships coming up February 4th.''
