OMAHA, Neb. – The College of Saint Mary swim team triumphed over its opponent and the clock on Saturday.

The Flames celebrated Senior Recognition Day with an impressive 147-46 victory over Morningside University at the H&K Pool on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Not only that, CSM turned in six personal-best swims and 19 season-best times.

"It was a dominant performance,'' CSM Coach Liz Germonprez said.

The Flames won 10 of the 11 events, including all three relays. Kylee Brown and Hannah Ferguson each won two individual events, while Isabella Promes, Kylee Jo Farson and Jaidyn Vanschoiack captured one each.

Olivia Poole, Grace Biddle, Ferguson and Addison Miller all recorded personal bests, and Germonprez singled out Ferguson for a particularly impressive performance. The sophomore from Bennington, Neb., had a "breakout meet,'' according to her coach.

"Every swim was a PB, including huge relay split drops in all of those events,'' Germonprez said.

Autumn Neale, Vanschoiack and Hannah Steinmetz were honored for their contributions to the program.

"There was a lot of Flames family support on Senior Recognition Day,'' Germonprez said. "Good vibes and a fast meet.''
