Two CSM swimmers qualify for national championships
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA announced qualifiers for the 2024 Women's Swimming and Diving National Championships Friday and two College of Saint Mary student-athletes will be competing at nationals.
Lily Wright, who had already automatically qualified with one 'A' cut time, will compete in the 50 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke. Teammate Kylee Brown learned about her qualification Friday and she was selected to swim in the 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle.
There are 28 schools represented in this year's meet and 164 individual entries qualified for the championships.
St. Thomas (Fla.) enters the championships with the highest total individual qualifiers with 18. Keiser (Fla.) and Cumberlands (Ky.) followed with 17 and 13 individuals, respectively.
The championship will be held in Columbus, Ga., at the Columbus Aquatic Center on March 6-9.
