Godwin signs with Flames soccer program
OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary is pleased to announce that Mia Godwin has signed to continue her soccer career with the school in the 2026-27 academic year.
Godwin is a recent graduate of Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs, Mo. She's the daughter of Roger and Jennifer Godwin.
CSM Coach Jamison Parkhill said Godwin is a forward who makes good things happen.
"Mia is a gritty player who is someone opposing defenses are going to have to be on the lookout for over the next four years,'' he said. "She is scrappy and works hard off the ball to put herself in good positions to make things happen.''
Godwin played four years of soccer at Blue Springs, where she says being voted captain by her teammates was her greatest sports moment.
She says a big reason she chose CSM was the soccer coaching staff.
"Mia is someone to watch during the next four years,'' Parkhill said. "She will do great things in the Navy and Gold.''
