Brandau signs with Flames for soccer
OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary is delighted to announce that Aubree Brandau has signed to continue her soccer career with the school in the 2026-27 academic year.
Brandau is the daughter of Kimberly Brandau and Bryan Murray, and is a senior at Saint Albert Catholic High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
CSM Coach Jamison Parkhill said Brandau is a welcome addition to his program.
"Aubree is an extremely hard worker,'' he said. "She is someone who we started following last spring and she impressed, time and time again. She has really grown as a player, and we are excited to see how she will continue to grow at CSM.''
In addition to playing four years of soccer at Saint Albert, Brandau participated in two years of track and field and one year of cheer. On the soccer field, she was honorable mention All-City as a junior.
Brandau said her greatest sports moment to date was reaching the state tournament as a sophomore. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and working out.
The athletic and academic offerings at CSM make it a great fit, Brandau said.
"I chose CSM because of the close-knit soccer team and amazing nursing program,'' she said. "I could truly see myself here in the future!''
Parkhill said the signing "continues our pipeline with Saint Albert in Council Bluffs. Coach (Chris) Hughes does a great job with them.''
