CSM golfers have record-breaking day!
YANKTON, S.D. – It was a record-breaking day for the Flames!
The College of Saint Mary golf team shot a school-record, one-day score of 335 Friday at Hillcrest Country Club. That was good enough to move the Flames up the rankings for a fifth-place finish at the Mount Marty Invite.
"I'm so proud of the team," CSM Coach Keri Rodriguez said. "Breaking the team record for a one-day score of 335 and shooting nine strokes better – on a harder course – than yesterday is awesome. This gives us a great start to the season."
University of Nebraska-Kearney won the tournament with a 306-297—603. The UNK 'B' team placed second with 328-336—664, while Mount Marty placed third with 332-340—672. Dakota Wesleyan took fourth with 325-353—678.

"Tori and Emily were tied with three other golfers for 10th, but lost it in a scorecard playoff," Rodriguez said.
