Hundal transferring to CSM to play hoops

OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary Basketball Coach Kirk Walker is excited to announce the signing of Jeannie Hundal. Hundal recently inked her letter of intent to continue her education and hoops career with the Flames.

The 5-9 shooting guard is the daughter of Jesse and Pam Hundal. She graduated from Sutter Union High School in 2020 and then attended Yuba Community College.

"Jeannie will be attending CSM after having success at Yuba College in California the last two years," Walker said. "Her addition as a wing player gives us needed depth in our guard court. Having had success at Sutter High School and at Yuba College, where they won the conference title her freshman year, she brings a background of knowing how to compete and win.

"We look forward to the energy and competitive drive she will bring to the Flames next season. We are looking forward to having her on campus in the fall."

Hundal plans to pursue pre-physical therapy at College of Saint Mary. Outside of basketball she says her hobbies include hanging out with friends, dirt biking, sleeping and snowboarding.

"I chose CSM because everyone here wants to be successful on and off the court," Hundal said. "I feel like I will be pushed to be a better person everyday in the classroom as well as on the basketball court."
