Zimmerman signs with CSM softball program

OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary is pleased to announce that Jacey Zimmerman has signed to continue her softball career at the school in the 2025-26 academic year.

Zimmerman is the daughter of Sharon Zimmerman and a senior at Millard South High School. She has experience at pitcher, second base and shortstop.

"We are excited to add Jacey to our team next year,'' CSM Coach Carolyn Todd Bray said. "Jacey is a very strong student who has also earned the prestigious Marie Curie Scholarship from College of Saint Mary. She's focused on her future and knows CSM will help her accomplish her goals.''

Zimmerman's sports hero is former Nebraska volleyball player Harper Murray. She enjoys spending time with her friends, being outdoors and watching movies.

Zimmerman said CSM checked all of her boxes.

"I chose CSM because it is an amazing school with small class sizes,'' she said. "I knew I did not want to go to a huge university, which is what makes CSM perfect for me. I wanted to be able to build a strong relationship with my professors and classmates. I am very excited to be a part of their STEM program by majoring in human biology, and I cannot wait to see where my journey at CSM takes me.''

Bray believes Zimmerman will have an impact on her program.

"I think she's going to be a great fit at CSM and a great fit for our team,'' she said. "We're counting on her to add depth to our team in several different areas, including pitching, hitting and the infield.''
