CSM lands 23 on NAIA Scholar-Athlete spring list
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for spring sports and 23 College of Saint Mary fall student-athletes have made the list.
The Flames had 15 track & field athletes honored, four tennis athletes recognized, three softball players named and one golfer awarded.
The 2024 list features student-athletes who have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average at their institution (grades were submitted after first semester in December 2023). In order to be nominated by an institution's sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
Making the list for CSM track & field were: Alivia Austin, Claire Caspersen, Kiley Craft, Jocelyn Farhar, Mira Fosmer, Kira Hagan, Taylor Hrabik, Chloe Inhelder, Madeline Krause, Emma Lee, Corinne Mead, Abigail Ridout, Autumn Simons, Skylar Ueding, Brooke Wigdahl.
Making the list for CSM tennis were: Renee Acena, Blake McDowall, Miranda Swanson, Carolyna Truong.
Making the list for CSM softball were: Daisy Lowther, Kymber Shallenberger, Alexis Smith.
Making the list for CSM golf was: Anna Moore.
