Littleton signs with CSM dance program
OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary is delighted to announce that Simone Littleton has signed to continue her competitive dance career with the school in the 2026-27 academic year.
Littleton is a 2025 graduate of Quest Forward High School in Omaha and spent the last year at Metropolitan Community College. She is the daughter of Jimmy Littleton and Kayla Simpson.
CSM Coach Jennifer Wasik is thrilled to have Littleton join her program.
"We're so excited to welcome Simone to our competition team this fall!'' she said. "She brings incredible power, determination and precision to everything she does. Her strong work ethic, attention to detail and passion for dance will make her a tremendous addition to our program.''
Littleton's high school didn't have a dance team, but she has been a competitive dancer since she was 9.
"Performing in the opening show at nationals my senior year really solidified that I wanted to continue to pursue dance in some capacity,'' she said.
Wasik said Littleton has a wide array of skills and talents.
"One of the things that stands out most about Simone is the depth of experience she already has, not only as a dancer, but also as a teacher and choreographer,'' she said. "I've had the opportunity to see her choreography firsthand, and I continue to be amazed by her creativity, musicality and artistic vision. She is incredibly organized, driven and mature beyond her years, and it's clear she has a very bright future ahead of her.
Littleton chose CSM "because of the supportive environment, tightknit community and the many academic and non-academic opportunities it provides for students.''
Wasik looks forward to the next three years with her latest recruit.
"I'm excited to have someone with her experience and perspective join our team, and I can't wait to watch her continue to grow throughout her collegiate career,'' she said. "Simone embodies the type of student-athlete we're looking for, and we're excited to welcome her to the Flames family!''
