Christi Glesmann’s affinity for College of Saint Mary is demonstrated by the four degrees she’s earned from the school: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) in ’04, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in ’06, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in ’08, and Doctor of Education in Health Professions Education (EdD) in ’14.

But those academic achievements only tell a portion of her story.

“College of Saint Mary quickly became more than just a place to earn a degree—it became home,’’ Glesmann said. “I found confidence in myself, lifelong friendships and a network of faculty and staff who genuinely believed in my potential.”

The Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Health Sciences at the school added another title in 2025: Faculty Athletics Representative.

It’s not one she takes lightly.

“I am thrilled about the opportunity to serve as the Faculty Athletics Representative for College of Saint Mary,’’ she said. “While I was not a collegiate athlete myself, I am aware of the incredible personal and professional growth that comes from being a student-athlete.’’

Prior to becoming an assistant dean in 2024, Glesmann was a registered nurse (RN) in pediatrics from 2004-2011, a CSM nursing faculty member from 2006-2013, and the CSM nursing program director from 2013-2023.

“I am eager to support our students as they balance academics and athletics, knowing how transformative this experience can be for building character and lifelong skills,’’ Glesmann said.
